You will be the technical core of our Digital department, working with our in-house Creative, Strategy and Brand Management teams to build everything from large-scale web applications to small, but beautiful single-page responsive sites.
We are a challenger marketing agency, obsessed with creating ideas that change behaviour, and we’re looking to recruit an innovative thinker who is armed with the latest development tools and able to make considered recommendations for how to best to use them. You will need to be as excited about new technology as we are, and meticulous in your deployment of established platforms: we will be building rapid prototypes as well as planning products designed to last.
KEY SKILLS
- 3+ years’ experience in the website development industry
- PHP – Can work with PHP out of the box and has experience working with PHP frameworks
- MySQL – Database design
- Frontend – HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript and JQuery
- GIT/SVN – Experience with version control use and workflows is required
- The ability to articulate your work, internally and to clients
- Working on a number of projects at once
PREFERABLE SKILLS
- PHP Frameworks – CakePHP, CodeIgniter
- PHP CMSs – WordPress, Drupal, ExpressionEngine
- API – Creating and consuming
- CSS Preprocessing – Compass/Sass
- Responsive Design – Media Queries, Foundation
